A Gallery of Souls

After writing the first piece for the album, encouraged by how it turned out, I sat down at the piano again to come up with something new. By then, I already had the idea of making the entire album a kind of bridge between different worlds and cultures.
This time, I decided to combine Polish folk tradition — including our characteristic “Oj dana, oj dana” — with influences from Native North American music and flamenco. On paper, it may sound like a pretty unlikely combination, but that was exactly the point: to bring together sounds from completely different places and see if they could still feel natural as one piece of music.
The track was originally much more electronic in character. That is why, alongside the album version, it also exists as an EDM version.
