Beyond Imagin - Opa!

This is really where everything began. First came the music, with a strong Balkan influence, and only later did I get the idea to build an entire album around that kind of atmosphere.
I remember that at the time I was working on a completely different song. At some point, I took a break, sat down at the instrument without any real plan, and simply started playing to clear my head. That little break from what I had been working on became this piece.
What was supposed to be nothing more than a short musical detour ended up becoming the starting point for a much bigger idea. Sometimes that is how music works best — when nothing is planned and you simply let it lead you somewhere unexpected.
