Droga

“Droga” — “The Road” — was quite literally written on the road and while traveling. At the time, I was driving from one city to another to go on dates with the woman who is now my wife. On my late-night drives back home, I would shape the lyrics in my head while the melody was already playing somewhere inside me.
I wanted the song to carry a certain atmosphere associated with The Doors, as a personal tribute to a band whose sound had fascinated me from a very young age. I was never trying to imitate them — only to make a musical bow in their direction.
In the end, though, the most important thing is still love. Love and... the road.
