This song was written around the year 2000. I felt that a message about a better world — or really, about the better side of ourselves — could be expressed through this kind of rhythm.

That’s why the lyrics avoid grand, lofty language, but I think the message is still easy to understand. The cover gets to the heart of it: don’t be afraid to step over to the brighter side.
