The Quietly Wise

This song is another one of my protest songs, but this time instead of a rock approach, I went in a more pop-oriented direction. When fitting the track into the album, I wanted it to carry echoes of different parts of the world. That is where the idea of using Russian, English, and Chinese lyrics came from.
Later, I decided to emphasize those differences even more by giving each section its own distinctive sound and instrumentation.
When the piece was first composed, there was only the music. For a long time, it existed in that form, and my first demo was completely instrumental.
Eventually, I combined two ideas into one and added lyrics to the music that was already there. As a result, the piece is almost divided into two parts — an instrumental section and a vocal section.
It was also released as a single containing only the song section.
